
Calling All BBQ Challengers
Join us May 5th for SWIRCA & More’s 2nd Annual Hoosier Hog Daddy BBQ Challenge.
BBQ Challengers will have the option of being judged in three categories: Ribs, Chicken and Butts with a $50 entry fee per category, following the KCBS Rules & Regulations (no garnish, no brisket). Prize money will be awarded for each category along with a custom-made trophy: $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place, $100 for 3rd place. A “People’s Choice Award” will also be given.
Over-all Grand Champion will be awarded $150, a trophy and have their entry fee waived for next year’s event. If the Grand Champion cannot attend the 2013 BBQ Challenge, the Reserve Grand Champion will have their entry fee waived instead.
Meat inspections and starting times will be set one week prior to event. Teams may begin set up Friday May 4th after 4:30 pm.
The BBQ Challenge will be held at SWIRCA & More, 16 W. Virginia Street, Evansville in the rear parking lot located off Baker Street.
Hoosier Hog Daddy opens to the public at 10:00 am.

Please fill out the BBQ Challenge Registration Form and return it to SWIRCA & More along with your entry fee. Registration forms can be picked up at the SWIRCA & More front office located at 16 W. Virginia St. Evansville IN 47710. Be aware that there are a limited number of open spots for BBQ Challengers.
